The original car was called the BF Meyers Manx SR.  In 1970 the talents of Bruce Meyers and Stewart Reed brought this car to a reality.  It was built by Bruce's company, BF Meyers Inc. in Fountain Valley, California.  They only produced the car for about 1 year.  It is a fiberglass kit car built on a shortened VW chassis.   Bruce Meyers was already famous for his Manx fiberglass dune buggy.  SR stands for "Street Roadster" and that is what this car was built for.  The Street!
