03/08/06 - FOR SALE!          1970  Meyers Manx SR, serial # SR38I0  , Built in Sept of 1970, less than 135 were built in the 9 months of production, had 2000 miles as of 1976 when door hinges were upgraded to SRII standard (exterior hinge mount with integral mirror) and fiberglass hard top and side curtains were installed. (Purchased form Karma Coachworks.  I have all receipts. New 1600cc dual port motor in 1985. But stored from 1980. Total mileage 6100 mls. All original Blaze Orange gel coat with standard black interior.  Car is outrageous for its age and is in excellent running and driving condition.  Have all original paperwork and build manuals including Karma instructions and catalog. Circa 70's wheels and tires could be original. No radio cutout in dash or antenna holes on body, just as it came from the Factory. This car will stop them in their tracks. 03/04/04 - FOR SALE  SOLD!  Rare Early Karma SR-2 & Rebuilt Corvair 180 Turbo.   This SR-2 (KC4-0109) is the 2nd oldest SR-2 registered with the Manx Club, the 9th SR-2 ever produced, and we believe it's one of approximately 125 SR-2's produced by Karma.  The body is in good shape, fairly complete, all original, and still in the original gel coat.   But it does need some minor work (windshield glass / small 3" crack in the rear corner / repainting / missing one mirror, etc..).  Body appears un-hit / accident free.  The car comes with 2 sets of side windows, a new extra hood, a rare factory roll bar, the removable fiberglass hardtop section, and a set of fiberglas factory seats (no covers).   The car has a complete roof section with sail emblems and rear glass. 
    The 180 HP Corvair Turbo was completely rebuilt 6 years ago by a recognized Corvair mechanic, with all Crown parts including a transaxle adapter, HD clutch & pressure plate.  Aluminum valve covers and oil pan, new starter.  Bench run 1 hour only when built, then stored in a heated garage.
    It's being sold as a body kit (no frame) and engine combo only, and sold "as is".  I'm asking $2900 for the combo.

 08/21/02 - FOR SALE! --SOLD!!   Restorable 1970 BF Meyers SR.  Sorry do not have vin# with me but will after I make a trip out of town to the shop.  Car is apart for restoration and is set for VW power.  There are 2 small cracks, 1 in left front wheel well and 1 in rear hood corner, both very minor.   From what I can tell, it is 1 of the originals but maybe someone can help me to answer that when vin is identified.  $1200 dollars, US funds is the price, firm.   Car is located in Calgary Canada.  Please email me if interested.
